My first time skydiving (I've been three times total). Dove out of Freefall Adventures in Cross Keys, NJ. My tandem instructor was Range. Went diving with my cousin Andy (it was his 6th time) and his girlfriend's cousin Daniel (his first time ever in a plane!). Paid $179 for the jump plus $85 for the video. I was, surprisingly, not nervous. What a sick thrill though! The real rush come from when you are at 13000 feet and you get up to the door, ready to jump , until about 2 seconds into the freefall. The rush you get for those 3 or 4 seconds is intense. The freefall lasted about 1 minute at over 120 mph. Once I pulled the rip cord, we descended for another 5 or 6 minutes. I took control and did a few spins. Range landed us safely back on the ground. Highly recommend Freefall Adventures if you are in the northeast US.
